Mount Nantai, also known as Nantai San, is a stratovolcano located in the Nikkō National Park in Japan. It stands at 2,486 meters tall (8,156 feet) and is the highest peak in the Nikkō region. The mountain is considered sacred in Japanese Shinto mythology and is home to the Futarasan Shrine, which is dedicated to three Shinto deities.
